Worth knowing before you plan around it: the Government of the UAE’s own police clearance page lists a document set that includes a letter from the applicant stating they have no pending criminal convictions, a recent passport-size photograph and a passport copy. The Ministry of Interior’s current service card, by contrast, records requirements as not available and lists only the identity, passport and UAE PASS conditions under its terms.

The most likely explanation is that the u.ae list describes the older in-person process while the MOI card describes the current digital one, which was reorganized under Ministerial Decision 600 of 2024.
